1. Who we are

2. What data we process and why

• Purchases, course access and bookings. Your name, email address, phone number if you give it, company details if you buy as a business, and the details of your order and payment. We need this to sell you a course or consultation and give you access to it. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• Accounting. Invoices and payment records, kept because the law requires it. Legal basis: legal obligation.
• Newsletter and free materials. Your name and email address, used to send what you signed up for and our newsletter. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email.
• Messages and contact forms. What you send us, used to answer you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in replying, or steps before a contract.
• Sensitive information. If you tell us about your health or intimate life in a consultation, a booking or a message, we use it only to provide that service and treat it as strictly confidential. Legal basis: your explicit consent.
• Website and email statistics. Which pages are visited, which forms are submitted and which of our emails are opened and clicked, linked to your email address once you have given it, so we can improve our website and emails. Legal basis: our legitimate interest. You can object at any time by writing to us.

Payment card details are entered directly with the payment provider and are never seen or stored by us.

3. Cookies

The website uses cookies that are needed for it to work, such as the shopping cart and login. Analytics and advertising cookies are used only if you allow them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time from the cookie settings on the website.

4. Who receives the data

We share data only with service providers who help us run the business and process it on our behalf: payment providers, website hosting, email delivery, the video call service used for consultations, website statistics, analytics and advertising platforms (if you have allowed those cookies), and our accountant. We do not sell your data.

Some of these providers are located outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. In those cases the transfer is protected by the European Commission’s adequacy decision (EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or by standard contractual clauses.

5. How long we keep it

• Accounting records: 7 years from the end of the financial year, as required by the Estonian Accounting Act.
• Customer and course access data: as long as you have access to the course or service, and after that as long as needed to handle any claims.
• Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe.
• Messages: as long as needed to deal with your request.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a commonly used format, and withdraw your consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. To use these rights, write to info@karolintsarski.com. We reply within one month.

If you think we process your data unlawfully, you can complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, www.aki.ee).

7. Other

Giving your data is voluntary, but without the data needed for an order we cannot complete the purchase. We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing. If we change this policy, the new version is published on this page with a new date.
